10 sessions from Fri 24 Apr 2026 [Show]
Homeschool Engineering Class
In this hands-on engineering class, students design and build working models using LEGO® bricks while exploring real engineering concepts such as gears, pulleys, levers, motion, and structural design.
Through guided building, experimentation, and discussion, students investigate how machines work and how engineers solve problems in the real world. Some lessons may also include simple coding activities using tablets to help bring their models to life.
Each session encourages students to test ideas, improve their designs, and think creatively while developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
This program is designed primarily for children aged 6–11 years (Years 1–6) and runs as a small group class to allow for guidance and discussion.
Classes run for 2 hours and are delivered as a supervised drop-off class where students participate independently.
The program runs for 10 sessions across Term 2 with a short mid-term break.
No prior engineering or coding experience is required.
