Our after-school engineering club introduces students to real STEM concepts through hands-on model building using LEGO®.
Each week students build a new working model while exploring engineering ideas such as gears, pulleys, levers, structural stability, and mechanical movement. Using guided instruction and tablet support, students investigate how real-world machines and mechanisms operate.
Participants build, test, and modify their models while developing problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and engaging environment.
No prior experience is required.
After-School Schedule
Students come directly to the class after school. Instructors supervise students as they arrive and the lesson begins at 2:40pm to allow time for students to arrive from their classrooms.
Parents are invited to arrive between 3:40pm and 3:50pm to see what their child has built before pack-up begins.
