Exclusive to Western Power families, the Young Engineers School Holiday Program brings hands-on LEGO® engineering and creative problem-solving to the workplace. Ideal for children aged 5–12, each day offers opportunities to build, test and explore, with activities tailored to students’ ages and abilities.
Theme 1: City in Motion
Discover the engineering that keeps a city moving! From busy construction sites to the machines working behind the scenes, children will explore how things work through hands-on LEGO® building. Through guided builds and creative challenges, young engineers will investigate movement, forces and mechanisms while testing ideas and solving problems. A day for curious minds who enjoy construction, machinery and discovering how things work.
Theme 2: Things That Go!
Get ready to explore the world of moving machines! Through hands-on LEGO® building, children will discover how engineering helps us travel, transport and explore. Young engineers will investigate motion and mechanical design as they build, test and experiment with different models. With opportunities to tackle challenges and develop their own ideas, children will put their creativity and problem-solving skills into action.
